State Delegate Matt Lohr, who runs the family farm in Broadway, thinks the state ought to have an Agricultural Tourism Director. Lohr says the director would educate Virginia farmers about the possibilities and help market the ideas. Lohr says he will ask the next session of the General Assembly for about 80-thousand dollars to fund the position, which he says will be money well spent. Lohr says Ag tourism includes things like pumpkin patches, corn mazes, bed and breakfasts, and wine tours.
