Dayton's population is expected to increase at least 30-fold on Saturday for the town's biggest event of the year, the Autumn Celebration. It starts at 8 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m., and organizers say with vendors are coming in from 12 states, including Florida, New York and Tennessee. The event, now in its 29th year, features about 75 food vendors and more than 300 arts and crafts booths, Helsley Lincoln said. There will be live music throughout the festival. The News-Record reports parking will be available at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Mosby Road, the Cargill poultry plant, Turner Ashby High School, Wilbur S. Pence Middle School and John Wayland Elementary School. Shuttle buses will bring people to and from the event throughout the day.
