Search and rescue teams are combing through an area of wooded trails in Augusta County to find two children. A group from west Virginia went hiking yesterday, but did not return at sundown. Authorities tell NBC29 the woman and three children were found about 8pm, but two others, an 8-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, were still missing. Augusta County deputies, state police, and nearby fire-and-rescue crews are combing the remote area. They're using ATVs, dogs, a helicopter and several teams of ground searchers using thermal imaging devices and a helicopter equipped with infrared sensors. Deputies have not yet released the names of any of the half-dozen hikers. Authorities say the woman was visiting friends who live very close to the wetlands.
